šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Tax Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex tax data to help us improve our products and services. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to identify trends, develop data visualizations, and create reports to inform business decisions. This role exists to ensure that our customers have access to accurate and reliable tax information, and that our internal processes are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Cloud Tax Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns in tax data.

• Developing and maintaining data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Creating reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.

• Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

• Developing and maintaining expertise in tax laws and regulations.

• Providing training and support to internal teams on data analysis and visualization tools.

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with tax data.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, with experience working with tax data.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

While not required, experience with cloud-based platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure, would be a plus. Additionally, experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL would be an advantage.
