šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
This exciting opportunity exists to provide clinical leadership and expertise to our Community Pharmacy operations, ensuring that our stores deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with our Pharmacy Leadership Team, advising on clinical strategy and providing coaching and guidance to store teams. As a key member of our operations team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, driving excellence in patient care and business outcomes.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to Community Pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, driving excellence in patient care and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Leadership Team to advise on clinical strategy and contribute to operational decisions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to store teams on clinical matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other departments, including Operations and Customer Service, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers and suppliers, to support the delivery of clinical services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Provide clinical input to the development and implementation of new services and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, as required, to support clinical decision-making and business planning.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant clinical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in clinical leadership or a similar role, with a strong background in pharmacy operations and management.
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the UK, with a current license to practice.
- Strong knowledge of clinical policies and procedures, with experience in developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, customers, and store teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Experience working in community pharmacy, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.
- Certified in a relevant clinical specialty, such as Diabetes Management or Asthma Care.
- Strong knowledge of clinical software applications, such as EMRs or CCRs.
