The Contractor - Senior Digital Media Operations Specialist for Streaming Services will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Disney's streaming services. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the technical infrastructure that supports the delivery of high-quality streaming content to millions of customers worldwide. As a key member of the digital media operations team, the successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues, develop and maintain technical documentation, and collaborate on the development of new features and services. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Digital Media Operations and will be an integral part of the team responsible for delivering exceptional streaming experiences.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and monitor the technical infrastructure that supports the delivery of high-quality streaming content to millions of customers worldwide. Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that technical information is accurate and up-to-date. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to streaming services. Work with stakeholders to develop and implement new features and services that enhance the streaming experience. Conduct regular technical audits to ensure compliance with Disney's technical standards and best practices. Collaborate with the devops team to design and implement automated testing and monitoring solutions. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical operations, with a focus on streaming services or digital media. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and monitoring complex technical systems. Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS or Azure. Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Ansible. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with streaming platforms such as Disney+, Netflix, or Hulu. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience with Scrum or Kanban. Experience with cloud-based storage solutions, such as S3 or GCS. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks, such as Pytest or Unittest.
