🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cybersecurity Architect - Clinical Informatics, you will design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect AdventHealth's electronic health records, telehealth platforms, and other clinical informatics systems. You will work closely with our clinical leadership to understand the security requirements for these systems and develop solutions to address them. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our patients' sensitive data.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity risk management strategy for clinical informatics systems.

Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure that security requirements are integrated into the design and development of clinical informatics systems.

Design and implement robust access controls, identity and access management systems, and audit logging mechanisms to protect sensitive data.

Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.

Develop and implement incident response plans for cybersecurity incidents affecting clinical informatics systems.

Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and trends in healthcare-related cybersecurity and provide expert advice to the organization.

Provide training and support to clinical staff on cybersecurity best practices and policies.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on healthcare or clinical informatics.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCISO are highly desirable.

Proven experience with access control, identity and access management systems, and auditing.

Strong understanding of healthcare-related regulations and standards, such as HIPAA.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bachelor's degree in a clinical field, such as nursing or healthcare management.

Experience with electronic health records systems, such as Epic or Cerner.

Certifications in clinical informatics or healthcare IT.

Proven experience with data analytics and business intelligence.

As a Cybersecurity Architect - Clinical Informatics, you can expect a competitive salary in the range of €60,000 to €80,000 per year.
