šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Cybersecurity Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company's products and services meet the highest standards of security and compliance. You will work closely with our technical teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks, develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs, and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners. Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for driving a culture of compliance throughout our organization and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of cybersecurity best practices.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity compliance programs that meet the requirements of industry standards, government regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance activities, including reports, policies, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and implement best practices to mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with the Director of Cybersecurity to develop and implement strategic plans to drive a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, with a strong background in industry standards and government regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
- Strong technical skills in cybersecurity tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with compliance frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevSecOps.
- Strong background in IT audit and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, such as FINRA and PCI-DSS.
- Experience with compliance automation tools, such as Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR).
