šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cybersecurity Consultant - Threat Intelligence Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of threat intelligence and incident response strategies across Kaiser Permanente's IT organization. This is a remote position, and you will work closely with our cybersecurity team to identify and analyze potential security threats, develop risk mitigation strategies, and provide expert guidance on incident response. You will report to our Senior Director of Cybersecurity and work collaboratively with our IT teams to ensure the security and integrity of Kaiser Permanente's systems and data.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement threat intelligence strategies to identify and mitigate potential security threats across Kaiser Permanente's IT environment.

Identify and analyze security incidents, and develop incident response plans to minimize the impact of these events.

Provide expert guidance on security best practices and incident response to IT teams across the organization.

Collaborate with our cybersecurity team to develop and implement security awareness training programs for employees.

Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and ensure that Kaiser Permanente's security posture is aligned with industry best practices.

Develop and maintain relationships with security vendors and partners to ensure that Kaiser Permanente has access to the latest security tools and technologies.

Identify areas for security improvement and develop plans to address these gaps.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence and incident response.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

CISSP or CISM certification, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.

Experience with threat intelligence platforms and tools, such as ThreatQ or Splunk.

Familiarity with incident response frameworks and methodologies, such as NIST or ISO 27035.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

Knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS.

Certification in a security-related field, such as CompTIA Security+ or GIAC GPEN.

$70,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
