šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Data Analytics Specialist ā Healthcare Operations, you will play a critical role in helping us improve our health insurance products and services by analyzing large datasets and identifying trends and insights. You will work closely with our operations team to develop predictive models, measure performance, and optimize processes. You will report directly to the Director of Healthcare Operations and will have the opportunity to impact the lives of millions of customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain advanced analytics models using machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and identify trends and insights.
Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and product development, to identify business needs and develop solutions.
Design and implement A/B testing and experimentation methodologies to measure the impact of changes on customer behavior and outcomes.
Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions and strategy.
Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations for optimization.
Develop and maintain documentation of analytics models, processes, and results.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new tools and methodologies to the team.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on healthcare or a related industry.
Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques, including regression, classification, and clustering.
Certification in data science or analytics is a plus.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in data science or a related field.
Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based storage solutions, such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with healthcare-specific data sources, such as claims data or electronic health records.
Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
Certification in project management or product development.
