🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a DevOps Engineer for High-Performance Cloud Migration in our Financial Services division, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and deployment of applications to the cloud. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing cloud performance, security, and scalability, while maintaining compliance with industry standards. You will report directly to the Cloud Migration Lead and will have a significant impact on the success of our cloud migration projects.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement high-performance cloud infrastructure for financial services clients, utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless migration of applications to the cloud, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, using metrics and monitoring tools to identify areas for improvement.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely resolution.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all cloud infrastructure configurations and security policies are properly documented.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, sharing knowledge and expertise with the team.

• Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for financial services clients, working closely with sales teams to identify new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain cloud-based tools and platforms, ensuring that they meet the needs of our financial services clients.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and migration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with cloud security policies, procedures, and controls.

• Experience with monitoring and metrics tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Certification in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer.

• Experience with cloud-native applications and serverless computing.

• Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
