🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Remote Supply Chain Operations Manager in DHL UK Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our supply chain, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. You will be reporting to the UK Logistics Operations Director and will be working closely with our cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements. Your goal will be to continually improve our supply chain performance, increasing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives, including improving delivery times, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Manage day-to-day operations of the supply chain, including coordinating with transportation providers, managing inventory levels, and resolving operational issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and transportation, to ensure seamless communication and process execution.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process enhancements.

Develop and implement process improvements, including automation and process standardization, to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Implement and manage inventory management systems, including warehouse management and transportation management systems.

Work closely with the UK Logistics Operations Director to develop and implement business strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, transportation providers, and internal teams.

Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on operations and logistics.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Strong technical skills in logistics software and systems, including transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Proven track record of improving supply chain performance, including reducing costs, improving delivery times, and increasing customer satisfaction.

Certifications in Supply Chain Management, such as APICS or CSCP, are a plus.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.

Experience with cloud-based logistics software and systems, including cloud-based TMS and WMS.

Certifications in transportation management, such as CDL or HAZMAT.

Experience with lean Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies.
