🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Supply Chain Manager - Automotive Sector, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain for DHL's automotive clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of supply chain operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements, managing budgets, and analyzing data to drive business growth. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain and will have a direct impact on DHL's revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for automotive clients, including sourcing, production planning, and logistics management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, such as automation and digitization, to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

• Manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze data to drive business growth and optimize supply chain performance.

• Conduct regular client reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.

• Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and disruptions to supply chain operations.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of supply chain processes and procedures.

• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve supply chain goals and objectives.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive sector.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex supply chain data and develop actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of supply chain operations and strategy.

• Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean.

• Familiarity with supply chain management software, such as SAP or Oracle.

• Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices.

• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to meet with clients and suppliers.

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Certification in supply chain management, such as CSCP or CLTD.

• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Familiarity with digital transformation and automation technologies, such as blockchain or robotics.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
