šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Digital Content Manager (UK Hobby Crafts Specialist) at Hobby Lobby, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our UK online presence across multiple platforms, including our e-commerce website and social media channels. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement digital content strategies that drive engagement and sales. Reporting to our UK Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our business in the UK market.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute digital content strategies that align with our brand vision and business objectives- Create high-quality, engaging content for our e-commerce website and social media channels- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and design to develop content that meets our brand standards- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities- Analyze and report on key metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates- Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely content publication- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital content creation and marketing- Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure seamless content delivery- Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify new content opportunities and ideas- Provide training and support to colleagues on digital content creation and best practices- Develop and maintain content asset management systems to ensure efficient content access and storage- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to inform future content decisions.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in digital content management, marketing, or a related field- Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging digital content that drives results- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices- Excellent writing, editing, and visual design skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and reporting- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the crafting or arts industries- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design software- Experience with SEO optimization and keyword research- Certification in digital marketing or content creation.
