🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Digital Content Marketing Specialist for Nigeria Market Expansion, you will play a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the Nigerian market. Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Africa, you will be responsible for creating and implementing campaigns that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and ultimately drive sales. Your work will have a direct impact on the growth and success of our business in Nigeria.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote Barnes & Noble's products and services in Nigeria, including email marketing, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO). Create high-quality content, including blog posts, videos, and infographics, to engage our target audience and drive brand awareness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives. Analyze campaign performance using data and analytics tools to inform future marketing strategies. Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices to ensure the continued success of our marketing efforts. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including influencers, partners, and vendors, to support marketing initiatives. Create and manage social media content calendars to ensure consistent and engaging brand messaging. Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the retail or publishing industry. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including email marketing software, social media management platforms, and data analytics tools. Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) principles. Experience with content creation, including writing, editing, and visual design. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Marketing or a related field. Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot. Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript. Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design thinking. Experience with video production and editing.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER
