šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Digital Product Owner — Inflight Entertainment, you will be responsible for leading the development and launch of new inflight entertainment features and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, user experience design, engineering, and operations to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. You will report to the Head of Digital Product and will be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and maintain product roadmaps for inflight entertainment features and services, aligning with business goals and customer needs.

- Collaborate with product management, design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

- Work with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, and communicate product vision and strategy.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product development and identify opportunities for innovation.

- Develop and manage product backlogs, ensuring that product development aligns with business objectives.

- Work with engineering teams to ensure that products are developed and launched efficiently and effectively.

- Develop and maintain product documentation, including product requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.

- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.

- Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

- Participate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and issues.

- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that products meet quality standards.

- Develop and maintain product metrics and analytics, to inform product development and optimization.

- Develop and manage product launch plans, including marketing and communications strategies.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote new products and services.

- Develop and maintain product content, including user manuals, FAQs, and product guides.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience as a Digital Product Owner or Product Manager in a technology company.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in managing product development and launch processes, including agile development methodologies.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and product development methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop solutions.

- Experience with product management tools, such as Jira, Asana, and Trello.

- Experience with product development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

- Strong understanding of user experience design principles and best practices.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Experience in the airline or travel industry.

- Certification in product management or agile development methodologies.

- Experience with product analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel.

- Experience with cloud-based product development platforms.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement plan, and 20 days of paid vacation per year. We also offer a learning and development budget of £1,000 per year, and a flexible remote work policy.
