🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Digital Solutions Architect - E-commerce Transformation, you will be part of the digital transformation team, responsible for architecting and implementing solutions to enhance our e-commerce platform and overall digital experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Merchandising, and Marketing, to identify business requirements and design technical solutions that meet our guests' needs. Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and make a significant impact on our digital business.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand e-commerce strategies and requirements, and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures for our e-commerce platform, leveraging cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system design documents, and technical standards.

- Work with the development team to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide technical guidance as needed.

- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, and contribute to the development of technical roadmaps and strategies.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential applications in our digital business.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on e-commerce or digital transformation.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, including AWS or Azure, and containerized applications.

- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Magento or SAP Commerce Cloud.

- Certification in AWS or Azure, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.

- Strong knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.

- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, and familiarity with tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

At Target, we offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, based on experience.
