šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Director of E-commerce Platform Operations for Mexico, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our e-commerce platform strategy, ensuring seamless and secure online shopping experiences for our customers. You will report directly to the Regional Vice President of E-commerce and will play a key role in driving business growth and expansion in Mexico. Your impact will be felt across the organization, as you will be responsible for aligning our e-commerce platform with the company's overall business objectives and ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce platform strategy for Mexico, aligning with the company's overall business objectives and customer needs.
⢠Lead a team of engineers, developers, and operations professionals to design, build, and maintain the e-commerce platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and logistics, to ensure a seamless and integrated online shopping experience.
⢠Develop and manage the platform's roadmap, prioritizing projects and initiatives to drive business growth and expansion.
⢠Analyze platform performance metrics and develop data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
⢠Foster strong relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful platform deployment and maintenance.
⢠Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the platform remains competitive and innovative.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠8+ years of experience in e-commerce platform operations, leadership, or a related field.
⢠Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
⢠Strong technical skills, including cloud architecture, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
⢠Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Adobe Commerce.
⢠Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
⢠Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
⢠Proficiency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
⢠Experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
⢠Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
⢠Certification in e-commerce, ITIL, or a related field.
