As Director of Healthcare Operations — Digital Transformation, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to leverage digital technologies to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and patient experience of our healthcare services. You will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital transformation initiatives that drive business outcomes and improve patient care. Your impact will be felt across the organization as you help shape the future of healthcare delivery.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives

• Lead a team of digital transformation specialists to design and implement new digital products and services

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for digital innovation

• Develop and manage budgets for digital transformation projects

• Analyze business performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform digital transformation decisions

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Aetna remains a leader in digital healthcare

• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the organization

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors to source digital solutions

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation initiatives

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan to support digital transformation

• Develop and lead training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to digital transformation

• Conduct regular progress reviews and provide recommendations for improvement

• Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer to ensure digital transformation initiatives do not compromise the security and integrity of our systems

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap

• Identify and prioritize digital transformation initiatives based on business needs and strategic goals

• Develop and execute a plan to measure and evaluate the success of digital transformation initiatives

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of digital transformation success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Experience leading digital transformation projects, with a focus on healthcare

• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, policies, and procedures

• Experience with digital technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in a matrix-based organization

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

• Experience with budget management and financial planning

• Experience with change management and organizational development

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
