🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As Director of International Collaboration Platform Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of online collaboration at Meta. This is a new role that was created to oversee the development and deployment of a new international collaboration platform that will enable people from all over the world to come together and work on common goals and projects. You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will work closely with a team of software engineers, product managers, and designers to design, build and launch this platform. Your goal will be to create a user-friendly and user-centered platform that meets the needs of Meta's global user base and helps to drive business growth and revenue.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the development and launch of the international collaboration platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy the platform's features and functionality.

Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to design and implement the platform's architecture and user interface.

Develop and manage the platform's product roadmap, prioritizing features and user experience based on user feedback and business needs.

Work closely with designers to create a user-centered design for the platform, ensuring that it is intuitive, easy to use and meets the needs of Meta's global user base.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the platform, including launch planning, marketing campaigns and customer outreach.

Develop and manage the platform's technical documentation, ensuring that it is accurate, up-to-date and accessible to users.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in software development or product management, with a focus on collaboration and productivity tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and projects.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience with user-centered design principles and user experience design tools such as Sketch or Figma.

Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, Python or JavaScript.

Meta offers a highly competitive salary range of €50,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
