🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Director of Omnichannel Retail Operations and Digital Experience, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our e-commerce and in-store experiences. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance the shopping experience for our customers, both online and in-store. Your key performance indicators will include sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute omnichannel retail strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer experience

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and store operations, to ensure seamless integration of digital and in-store experiences

• Analyze customer data and market trends to inform retail operations and digital experience decisions

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs

• Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners to support retail operations and digital experience initiatives

• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to ensure Whole Foods Market remains competitive

• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of retail operations and digital experience professionals

• Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support retail operations and digital experience initiatives

• Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the shopping experience and improve operational efficiency

• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and success

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, store managers, and customers

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of experience in retail operations and digital experience, preferably in a leadership role

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

• Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing operational efficiency

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop insights

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Experience working with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and omnichannel retail systems

• Strong understanding of retail operations, including store management, inventory management, and supply chain management

• Familiarity with retail analytics tools, such as Salesforce and Google Analytics

• Experience managing budgets and financial plans, with ability to develop and manage financial plans to support retail operations and digital experience initiatives

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

• Experience working in the grocery retail industry, preferably with a major chain

• Certification in retail analytics or digital marketing

• Experience with agile methodologies and lean principles

• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
