🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
The Distant Store Operations Manager—Central Mexico Region Lead will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple stores in the central Mexico region. This person will work closely with store managers to ensure excellent customer service, efficient supply chain management, and adherence to H-E-B's high standards. The successful candidate will report directly to the Regional Director and will play a key role in driving sales growth, improving efficiency, and increasing customer satisfaction in the region.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage store operations in the central Mexico region, including scheduling, inventory, and customer service
Collaborate with store managers to develop and implement sales growth strategies and plans
Assist in the training and development of store managers and team members
Conduct regular store visits to evaluate performance, address concerns, and provide feedback
Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers
Manage and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in retail operations or management
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Proven track record of improving sales growth and operational efficiency
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience working in a similar role or industry
Certifications in operations management or a related field
Fluency in Spanish (in addition to English)
