🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Distributed System Architect - Renewable Energy Grid, you will play a key role in designing and deploying cutting-edge energy solutions that will help shape the future of energy distribution. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement novel distributed energy systems that integrate wind, solar, and other renewable energy sources into our grid. Reporting directly to our Renewable Energy Group Manager, you will have a significant impact on our company's goal of reducing carbon emissions and increasing our use of renewable energy sources. Your expertise will help us create a more sustainable and resilient energy grid for the future.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and develop novel distributed energy systems that integrate renewable energy sources into our grid, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

- Lead cross-functional teams to implement these systems, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, operations, and customer service.

- Conduct comprehensive analysis and technical assessments to identify opportunities for improvement in energy efficiency, reliability, and cost savings.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including suppliers, technology providers, and regulatory agencies.

- Provide technical guidance and support to our operations team to ensure seamless integration of new energy systems into our grid.

- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.

- Collaborate with our R&D team to explore new technologies and innovations that can enhance our energy distribution capabilities.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards to ensure consistency and best practices across our organization.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in energy system design, development, and deployment, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Expertise in distributed energy systems, renewable energy sources, and energy storage technologies.

- Strong understanding of energy grid operations, including transmission and distribution systems.

- Experience with project management and budgeting, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in relevant software development tools, including Python, Java, and C++.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to energy distribution and renewable energy.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in a related field, such as Energy Systems, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

- Experience with machine learning and data analytics in energy system optimization.

- Certification in energy management or a related field, such as CEP or PE.

- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and distributed computing frameworks, such as AWS or Kubernetes.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

We offer a highly competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
