🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a DEI Specialist at Meta, you will play a critical role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address diversity and inclusion gaps, develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusion, and provide training and resources to employees. You will report to the Head of Diversity and Inclusion, and you will work closely with other DEI specialists to achieve our diversity and inclusion goals.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within Meta.

• Conduct diversity and inclusion assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusion.

• Provide training and resources to employees on diversity and inclusion.

• Develop and manage programs to promote diversity and inclusion, including diversity and inclusion surveys, employee resource groups, and diversity and inclusion events.

• Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.

• Develop and maintain relationships with diversity and inclusion stakeholders, including community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies.

• Stay up-to-date with best practices in diversity and inclusion and apply this knowledge to inform our diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.

• Collaborate with other DEI specialists to achieve our diversity and inclusion goals.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sociology, psychology, or business.

• Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as diversity and inclusion or organizational development.

• Certification in diversity and inclusion, such as the Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or the Certified Inclusion Professional (CIP).

• 5-10 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, or a related field.

• Strong experience in program management, including developing and implementing programs to promote diversity and inclusion.

We offer a competitive salary range of 500,000 - 800,000 NGN per annum, depending on experience.
