šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute initiatives that promote a culture of inclusion and foster a diverse and equitable work environment. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will have a significant impact on our organization's social responsibility and reputation as an employer of choice.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy aligned with Publix's mission and values.
Collaborate with leadership to create and execute initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Conduct regular assessments and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies to address disparities.
Provide training and resources to managers and employees on unconscious bias, microaggressions, and inclusive behaviors.
Partner with employee resource groups to support their initiatives and promote a culture of inclusion.
Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and experts in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience in human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion, or a related field.
B.A. or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Experience working with employee resource groups or affinity groups.
Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in retail or a related industry.
