šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an E-commerce Sustainability Specialist to join our UK operations team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in shaping our e-commerce business to be more environmentally friendly and socially responsible. You will report to the UK Sustainability Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Our E-commerce Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies for our e-commerce business, including:
Conducting regular audits of our e-commerce operations to identify areas for improvement
Developing and implementing plans to reduce carbon emissions, waste, and other negative environmental impacts
Collaborating with the product development team to design and create sustainable products
Working with the marketing team to develop and implement sustainability-focused marketing campaigns
Analyzing data to measure the impact of our sustainability initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners to promote sustainable practices
Collaborating with the logistics team to develop more efficient and environmentally friendly shipping practices
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you will need:
5+ years of experience in sustainability or a related field
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's degree in sustainability or a related field, experience with sustainability certifications (e.g. LEED AP), and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Tableau) would be a plus.
