🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Electric Vehicle Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of Tesla's vehicles and systems. Reporting to our Head of Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential cyber threats, developing and implementing security protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will have a significant impact on the safety and security of our customers and the broader industry.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain comprehensive threat models to identify potential vulnerabilities in Tesla's electric vehicle software and systems.

Collaborate with the development teams to integrate security into the design and development process.

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Develop and implement incident response plans to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.

Collaborate with the IT and infrastructure teams to ensure secure configuration and deployment of systems.

Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and advise senior leadership on security trends and best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on automotive or IoT security.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification preferred.

Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and security audits.

Strong understanding of security protocols and standards, including ISO 27001.

Proficient in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.

Experience with DevSecOps and security tooling such as ThreatConnect or Splunk.

Certification in cloud security or compliance.

Familiarity with Tesla's products and systems.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

Salary range: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
