šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Enterprise Data Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our customer data across the enterprise. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data management, analytics, and technology, to develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating data quality risks, providing training and support to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will report to the Director of Data Governance and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our business.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards across the enterprise.
. Collaborate with data management, analytics, and technology teams to identify and mitigate data quality risks.
. Provide training and support to stakeholders on data governance practices and procedures.
. Conduct regular data quality audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
. Develop and maintain data governance metrics and dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to data governance.
. Develop and execute data governance projects and initiatives.
. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data governance requirements are integrated into the data management lifecycle.
. Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge management systems for data governance.
. Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on data governance practices and procedures.
. Collaborate with data quality teams to develop and implement data quality metrics and dashboards.
. Develop and maintain data governance dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
. Collaborate with data integration teams to ensure data governance requirements are integrated into the data integration lifecycle.
. Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge management systems for data governance.
. Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on data governance practices and procedures.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
. 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
. Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
. Experience with data management and analytics tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Experience with data quality tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
. Certification in data governance or a related field, such as CDMP or CDP.
. Experience working with cloud-based data management platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
. Experience working with data quality tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue.
