🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Home Decor Retail Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of our UK stores. This dedicated professional will report to the District Manager and play a pivotal role in implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, increase sales, and drive business growth. By leveraging their expertise, the successful candidate will contribute to shaping the retail operations landscape in the UK, aligning with Home Depot's global standards and best practices.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Developing and executing store layouts to optimize customer flow and merchandise presentation.

- Collaborating with the Visual Merchandising team to design and implement in-store promotions, displays, and product displays.

- Conducting regular store operations audits to ensure adherence to Home Depot's standards.

- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve retail operations efficiency, such as inventory management and supply chain processes.

- Developing and maintaining a team of retail operations specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure high performance.

- Analyzing sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.

- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, promotions, and product launches.

- Managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory levels.

- Collaborating with the Training department to develop and deliver training programs for retail operations staff.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- A degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations, with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of retail operations management principles, including inventory management, supply chain management, and visual merchandising.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of retail operations specialists.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using inventory management software and other retail operations tools.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working in the home improvement industry, specifically in retail operations.

- A certification in operations management, such as the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation.

- Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using data visualization tools to present findings.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Strong understanding of the UK retail market and trends.

Home Depot offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
