🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As the German Market Expansion Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to expand Sysco's presence in the German market. You will work closely with our European leadership team to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key customers and suppliers, and drive the growth of our business in Germany. You will report directly to the European Director of Sales and will have a significant impact on the company's revenue growth in the region.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand Sysco's presence in the German market through market research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key customers and suppliers in Germany.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the growth of our business in Germany.

Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.

Identify and mitigate risks associated with market expansion, including regulatory and logistical challenges.

Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for market expansion initiatives.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a strategic planning or marketing role in the food industry or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful market expansion strategies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing budgets and forecasts.

Professional certification in marketing or business administration.
