šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As the Global Airline Data Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights and decision making across the airline. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing data analytics solutions that inform airline operations, customer experience, and business strategy. You will report directly to the Vice President of Data Analytics and will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data analytics strategy aligned with airline business objectives
Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data analytics solutions
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures
Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations to inform business decisions
Partner with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of data analytics solutions into existing systems
Provide data-driven insights to senior leaders and stakeholders to inform business strategy
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and ensure the airline remains competitive
Develop and maintain a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization
Provide training and support to employees on data analytics tools and best practices

Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework to ensure data quality and integrity
Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Partner with the customer experience team to develop and implement data-driven customer insights
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data security framework to ensure the protection of sensitive information
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, engineering, or a related field
Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, engineering)
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions
Strong technical skills in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)
Experience working with large datasets and developing data pipelines and architectures
Certifications in data sciences, analytics, or engineering (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, engineering)
Experience working in the aviation or transportation industries
Certifications in data governance, security, or compliance (e.g., Certified Data Governance Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
Experience leading large-scale data analytics projects and initiatives
