šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Business Process Improvement Manager at Toyota, you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing our business processes across multiple departments and locations. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement effective solutions, and measure the impact of changes. You will report directly to our Director of Operations and will be part of a highly collaborative team that values open communication and mutual respect.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⢠Develop and implement business process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality across the organization.
⢠Conduct thorough analysis of current processes, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
⢠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes, policies, and procedures.
⢠Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
⢠Analyze data and metrics to inform business decisions and identify areas for further improvement.
⢠Provide training and coaching to employees on new processes and procedures.
⢠Develop and maintain documentation of business processes, policies, and procedures.
⢠Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
⢠Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
⢠Identify and implement opportunities for automation and technology-enhanced processes.
⢠Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce waste and optimize resource allocation.
⢠Collaborate with IT to implement new technology solutions to support business process improvements.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
⢠Minimum 5 years of experience in business process improvement, operations management, or a related field.
⢠Proven track record of driving business process improvements, resulting in significant cost savings or efficiency gains.
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions.
⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
⢠Strong knowledge of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
⢠Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
⢠Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
⢠Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
⢠Experience working in the automotive industry or a related field.
⢠Certification in a business process improvement methodology (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean).
⢠Familiarity with process mapping and workflow analysis tools (e.g. Process Street, Lucidchart).
⢠Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
