🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Global Category Manager in Grocery & Beverages at CostCo, you'll oversee our global strategy for these key categories. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and value. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Grocery & Beverages, you'll be responsible for developing and executing plans to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance the member shopping experience. Your impact will be felt across our global operations, influencing the products that end up on our shelves and in our members' cartons.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement global category strategies for Grocery & Beverages, aligning with CostCo's business objectives and member needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, marketing, and store operations to ensure seamless execution.

Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to drive partnerships and negotiate contracts.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and CostCo's quality control processes.

Manage budgets, forecasting, and inventory management to optimize category profitability.

Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive sales and member engagement.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in category management, product development, or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving profitability, and enhancing member satisfaction.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience in the grocery or beverage industry, with knowledge of key trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.

Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.

Certification in category management, purchasing, or a related field.

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

£55,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
