šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As Global Community Manager - UK Expansion, you will be responsible for leading our community growth and engagement efforts in the United Kingdom. You will be a key member of our international growth team, reporting directly to the Director of Global Communities. Your primary goal will be to drive user acquisition and retention through strategic community-building initiatives, fostering a positive reputation for Yelp, and ensuring we are a go-to destination for UK consumers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute community growth strategies tailored to the UK market, incorporating social media, influencer partnerships, and local events.
Collaborate with the product and content teams to create localised content and features that resonate with UK consumers.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, influencers, and UK government representatives.
Monitor and report on community engagement metrics, ensuring data-driven decisions and continuous improvement of our community-building initiatives.
Identify and address community concerns, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Work closely with the international growth team to share best practices and drive global community growth.
Create engaging content for our UK social media channels, including social media advertising and influencer partnerships.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in community management, marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities, preferably in the UK market.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, including their nuances and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience in a similar role within the tech industry or a large, customer-focused organisation.
Familiarity with SEO principles and their application to community-building initiatives.
Knowledge of Google Analytics and other data analysis tools.
Fluency in multiple languages, preferably including English, Welsh, and Scottish Gaelic.

As a member of our global team, you will receive a highly competitive salary range of £50,000 - £80,000 in GBP, depending on experience.
