🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As our new Global Energy Operations Manager — German Market Expansion, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's European strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of International Development, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market entry plans in Germany. Your success will drive significant revenue growth, expand our customer base, and further establish Duke Energy as a leader in the European energy market.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement market expansion strategies for Duke Energy in Germany, including identifying new business opportunities and negotiating partnerships.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to craft and execute detailed business plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Provide market insights and analytics to inform business decisions, ensuring data-driven strategies are in place to drive growth.

Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition and ensure long-term market success.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth market expansion.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in energy operations, market development, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth.

Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.

Fluent German and English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with market analysis, data-driven strategy development, and competitive analysis.

Ability to travel frequently to Germany and other European locations.

2+ years of experience working in the German energy market or a related industry.

Knowledge of EU energy regulations and market trends.

Certification in project management or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
