šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global In-Flight Experience Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of in-flight entertainment and experience for JetBlue's customers. You'll be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the passenger experience. Reporting to the Director of In-Flight Experience, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Engineering, and Digital Media. Your work will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall brand perception.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Collaborate with product teams to design and develop new in-flight entertainment systems and experiences. Conduct research to stay up-to-date on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing plans to ensure seamless passenger experiences. Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance passenger engagement and satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new experiences into existing systems and infrastructure. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions. Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of new experiences. Develop and maintain product requirements documents to ensure alignment with business objectives.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field. 8+ years of experience in experience design, product development, or a related field. Proven track record of delivering innovative, user-centered design solutions that drive business results. Strong understanding of human-centered design principles, user research methods, and usability testing. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams. Experience with product management and requirements gathering. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field. Experience with agile development methodologies and Scrum frameworks. Familiarity with cloud-based design tools such as InVision Cloud or Adobe XD. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, or CSS. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
