🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Logistics Optimization Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain operations by leveraging data analytics and process improvement techniques. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify areas of bottlenecks, implement new strategies, and optimize our logistics processes to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. You will report directly to our Logistics Operations Manager and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our global operations.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with our transportation providers to negotiate better rates and improve delivery times.
• Analyze and optimize our warehousing and inventory management processes to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
• Implement just-in-time delivery systems to reduce inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Identify areas of improvement and develop process improvements to be implemented across the organization.
• Collaborate with our business intelligence team to develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure the success of our logistics operations.
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.
• Collaborate with our purchasing team to negotiate better prices with suppliers.
✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven experience with data analytics and process improvement techniques.
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
• Experience with enterprise-level logistics software, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Fluency in German or French.
