šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the global marketing strategy and execution for Marriott's digital marketing campaigns. You will be a key member of the marketing automation team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize marketing automation workflows, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for our guests. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Automation and will be responsible for driving business outcomes through data-driven insights and customer-centric marketing strategies.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement marketing automation workflows using industry-leading tools such as Marketo and Pardot, ensuring alignment with Marriott's global marketing strategy.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to develop and execute complex marketing automation campaigns, leveraging data and analytics to drive business outcomes.
- Develop and maintain marketing automation assets, including email templates, landing pages, and lead scoring rules, to ensure consistency and brand cohesion.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize marketing automation workflows and improve return on investment (ROI).
- Work closely with the data and analytics team to integrate marketing automation data with other Marriott systems, providing a single customer view and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide training and support to regional marketing teams to ensure effective adoption and utilization of marketing automation capabilities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Marriott's customer journey, including customer pain points, preferences, and behaviors.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven marketing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of marketing automation tools, including Marketo and Pardot, and experience with campaign design, implementation, and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, customer experience, and product teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, customer experience design, and the importance of personalization in marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with data management systems, including CRM and data analytics tools, such as Adobe Campaign and Salesforce.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Certification in marketing automation, such as the Marketo Certified Developer or Pardot Certified Consultant.
- Experience working in a global marketing organization, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and regional marketing strategies.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, and experience with data storytelling.
