π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Operations Manager for E-commerce Logistics, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations of our e-commerce business in Germany. This role will report directly to the Head of E-commerce Logistics and will be a key member of our European operations team. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of packages to our customers across the region.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues. Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce logistics team, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. Analyze data to optimize delivery routes and schedules. Implement and maintain effective quality control processes to ensure high-quality customer service. Develop and manage budget plans to ensure profitability. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition. Provide regular reporting to senior management on key performance indicators and operational metrics. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and external partners. Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and knowledge. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in supply chain management or logistics, with a focus on e-commerce. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with supply chain management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. Experience working in a similar role within the e-commerce industry. Familiarity with German customs regulations and procedures. Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle. Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
