π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Operations Risk Manager β Mexico Financial Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the compliance and risk management of our financial services operations in Mexico. Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our financial products and services. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to provide safe and sound financial services to our customers, while also maintaining the confidence of our stakeholders. You will work closely with the Mexico business team to develop and implement risk management strategies, monitor and report on risk metrics, and conduct regular risk assessments of our operations.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks associated with our financial services operations in Mexico. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess risks, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation. Conduct regular risk assessments of our operations, including financial statement analysis and regulatory compliance assessments. Monitor and report on risk metrics, including key risk indicators and dashboard reporting. Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct regular audits and reviews of our operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies. Provide risk management guidance and support to the Mexico business team, including training and coaching on risk management best practices.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management or a related field, with a focus on financial services. Proven track record of developing and implementing risk management strategies that have improved risk management outcomes. Strong knowledge of risk management principles, including financial, operational, and regulatory risks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. Certification in risk management, such as CRMP or PRMP. Experience working in a global financial institution, with knowledge of international risk management practices and regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including credit, investment, and insurance products.
