šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As Global Supply Chain Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals to ensure seamless and efficient supply chain operations across our global network. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Supply Chain, you will be accountable for developing and implementing strategic logistics plans, managing relationships with suppliers and carriers, and driving cost savings initiatives. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers, while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement global supply chain logistics strategies in alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Lead a team of logistics professionals to manage day-to-day supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to drive cost savings and improve service levels.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful logistics strategies, resulting in significant cost savings and improved service levels.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehousing, and inventory management systems.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of logistics professionals.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with a global team.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
- Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
