šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Supply Chain Operations Manager for E-commerce Fulfilment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers. Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing supply chain processes and initiatives to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Your key performance indicators will include on-time delivery rates, inventory turnover, and shipping costs.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies to meet business targets and customer expectations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new supply chain processes and technologies, including automation and artificial intelligence.
* Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize supply chain performance.
* Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals to achieve business objectives and develop their skills and expertise.
* Engage with suppliers and logistics providers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and improve service levels.
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure supply chain performance.
* Ensure compliance with Amazon's sustainability and social responsibility standards.
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including those related to natural disasters, trade restrictions, and supplier insolvency.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform supply chain strategy and innovation.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field (e.g., MBA, MS, or Ph.D.).
* Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including demand planning, inventory management, transportation management, and warehousing.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing talent.
* Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems, transportation management systems, and data analytics platforms.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience working in a global supply chain environment, with a deep understanding of international trade regulations, customs clearance, and logistics.
* Knowledge of cloud-based supply chain platforms and emerging technologies, such as blockchain, IoT, and AI.
* Certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (e.g., APICS, CPIM, or CLTD).
* Experience in leading process improvements and transformation initiatives, with a focus on operational efficiency and cost reduction.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, a retirement plan with a 10% company match, and a generous vacation policy.
