šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist — Retail, you'll be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our retail supply chain to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to our stores and customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Optimization and will have a significant impact on the company's bottom line.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze and optimize retail supply chain processes, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.

• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including logistics providers and manufacturers.

• Analyze and report on key supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, transportation costs, and warehouse utilization.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and tools to improve supply chain efficiency.

• Develop and execute business cases to justify investments in supply chain optimization initiatives.

• Conduct regular supply chain benchmarking to identify best practices and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain a network of external partners and suppliers to support global supply chain operations.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain Optimization to develop and implement supply chain optimization strategies.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain optimization, logistics, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements in a supply chain environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Experience with supply chain planning and execution systems, including SAP and Oracle.

• Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI.

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute business cases to justify investments.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Experience with process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma.

• Experience with supply chain benchmarking and best practices.

• Familiarity with cloud-based supply chain platforms, including Manhattan Associates and JDA.

• Experience with data analytics and machine learning.
