šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Supply Chain Risk and Sustainability Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our EV manufacturing department, you'll be responsible for managing and mitigating supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards, and driving continuous improvement in our operations. You'll report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sustainability. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility in our supply chain.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and mitigate supply chain risks, including raw material sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution.

Develop and implement sustainability strategies across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and services from environmentally responsible suppliers.

Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier sustainability performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure open communication and collaboration.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on supply chain sustainability performance and risk exposure.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply chain carbon footprint and promote sustainable business practices.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in supply chain management, sustainability, or a related field.

Master's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, or environmental science.

Proven expertise in risk management, sustainability, and environmental compliance.

Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Ability to travel frequently, up to 50% of the time, to visit suppliers and attend industry conferences.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification in sustainability or supply chain management, such as CSCP or SCMP.

Experience working in the EV or automotive industry.

Proven track record of driving sustainability improvements and reducing environmental impact.

Fluent in Spanish or other languages, with ability to communicate with international suppliers.
