🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Global Supply Chain Risk Manager — Procurement Strategy will play a critical role in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks in our global supply chain. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Risk Management, this person will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies that support the company's overall business objectives. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, analytical skills and leadership abilities.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and assess potential supply chain risks, such as supplier insolvency, regulatory non-compliance, and natural disasters, using data analytics and industry benchmarking.

Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including negotiating contracts with suppliers and implementing risk transfer mechanisms.

Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and assess suppliers' financial stability, quality and reliability.

Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, communicating risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Develop and implement training programs for procurement teams on risk management best practices.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain risk management, procurement or a related field.

Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and identify key risk indicators.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD or CIRM.

Experience working with global suppliers, with ability to navigate cultural and language differences.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
