šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Global Transaction Banking Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals in Frankfurt, providing day-to-day support for our clients and ensuring the smooth execution of international payment and cash management services. You will report to the Head of Global Transaction Banking Operations and collaborate closely with other teams, such as sales, product management, and risk management. Your impact will be felt across our global network, as you contribute to the growth and profitability of our transaction banking business.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of international payment and cash management services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement process improvements, leading to increased efficiency and reduced costs.
- Analyze and resolve complex operational issues, providing expert advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Participate in business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to grow our transaction banking business and contributing to the development of new products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as AML, KYC, and sanctions compliance.
- Manage and mitigate operational risks, ensuring the integrity of our operations and minimizing potential losses.
- Develop and implement effective training programs, ensuring that operations professionals have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Analyze and report on operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the operations team, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing costs.
- Participate in global and regional meetings, providing insights and expertise on operations and risk management.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our operations and reduce risks.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in transaction banking operations, with a focus on international payment and cash management services.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with payment systems, cash management tools, and operational risk management systems.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex operational issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives, with a focus on increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as AML, KYC, and sanctions compliance.
- Familiarity with global transaction banking products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience working in a global or regional role, with exposure to multiple markets and cultures.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and development, with a focus on transaction banking.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with German language and culture.
