π― ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Lead Store Operations Specialist at PetSmart, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will oversee store layouts, manage inventory, and provide guidance to store employees on sales strategies, product knowledge, and customer service standards. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving business results, coaching and developing team members, and maintaining a positive store environment.
π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, adhering to company standards and local regulations.
Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to drive sales.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement employee training programs, focusing on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service.
Monitor store operations, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to increase efficiency and productivity.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with store employees, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to promote a positive work environment.
β REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a leadership role.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use company-specific software.
β PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Certification in retail operations or a related field.
Fluency in German, in addition to English.
Experience with inventory management software and systems.
