šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Mexico Remote IT Compliance Specialist ā Financial Services, you will be responsible for ensuring that our technology infrastructure and systems comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will report directly to the Head of IT Compliance and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks. Your work will have a significant impact on our ability to deliver secure and reliable financial services to our customers.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of our IT systems and infrastructure to identify potential compliance gaps and weaknesses.
* Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that new systems and technologies are properly designed and implemented to meet compliance requirements.
* Provide training and support to IT staff on compliance-related issues and best practices.
* Conduct investigations and incident response activities related to compliance incidents or security breaches.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance-related activities and documentation.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards, and provide recommendations for updates to our compliance framework.
* Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay informed about new developments and trends.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance considerations are integrated into business decisions and operations.
* Develop and implement a compliance training program for IT staff to ensure that they understand their compliance responsibilities.
* Conduct regular compliance reviews and assessments to ensure that our IT systems and infrastructure remain compliant.
* Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to measure compliance effectiveness.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT compliance and security.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT compliance and risk management.
* Proven track record of successfully leading or participating in compliance-related projects and initiatives.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT compliance.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance-related software tools.
* Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
* Experience with compliance frameworks and regulations such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and threat intelligence.
* Fluency in Spanish and English.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
* Certification in IT compliance, such as CIPP or CISM.
* Experience with compliance-related software tools and technologies.
* Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
* Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies.

* Salary range of 500,000 - 800,000 MXN per year, depending on experience.
