As a Part-Time Content Acquisition Specialist in our British Entertainment team, you'll play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring top-tier content for our platforms. You'll work closely with our content team to develop a deep understanding of our audience preferences and industry trends, and use this knowledge to scout out and negotiate deals for high-quality content. Reporting to our Content Acquisition Manager, you'll have a significant impact on the success of our content strategy and the growth of our subscriber base.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify high-quality content opportunities that align with our audience preferences and business objectives.

* Develop and maintain relationships with content providers, including producers, distributors, and agents.

* Evaluate and negotiate deals for content acquisition, including TV shows, movies, documentaries, and kids' content.

* Collaborate with our content team to develop content strategies and recommendations, and ensure that all acquired content meets our quality and diversity standards.

* Work closely with our licensing team to ensure seamless integration of acquired content into our systems.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for future content acquisitions.

* Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive records of content acquisitions, including rights, costs, and other relevant details.

* Collaborate with our analytics team to analyze content performance and provide insights for future acquisitions.

* Ensure that all content acquired meets our company's standards for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years of experience in content acquisition, licensing, or a related field.

* Strong knowledge of the entertainment industry, including current trends, emerging platforms, and emerging technologies.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with content providers and internal stakeholders.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed recommendations.

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as film, television, or business.
