šŸŽÆ ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Part-Time Health IT Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the digital transformation of our healthcare services is aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain compliance programs that meet the evolving needs of our business. You will report to the Director of Health IT Compliance and have a direct impact on the success of our digital transformation initiatives.

šŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement compliance programs for digital health services, including data protection, security, and confidentiality controls.

Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement compliance training programs for employees.

Provide guidance and support to teams on compliance matters related to digital health services.

Review and analyze industry trends and regulatory developments to stay up-to-date on emerging compliance issues.

Maintain accurate and detailed compliance records and metrics.

āœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in health IT compliance, preferably in a similar role or industry.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as health informatics, business administration, or law.

Strong knowledge of industry regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ICD-10.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, with a focus on digital health services.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification in health IT compliance, such as CPHIMS or CHC.

Experience working with digital health technologies, such as telemedicine and e-prescribing.

Strong understanding of data analytics and data visualization tools.
