🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Regional Airline Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Germany-based regional airline fleet. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Europe, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless flight operations, high levels of customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of our regional operations. - Develop and implement regional airline strategies to meet business objectives and ensure alignment with Delta Air Lines' overall strategy

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency

- Provide exceptional leadership to the regional airline operations team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Delta Air Lines' operating procedures

- Analyze and address operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

- Develop and manage budgets for regional airline operations, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control

- Lead and participate in internal and external committees to drive industry innovation and cooperation

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of regional airline operations staff

- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, airline partners, and Delta Air Lines' leadership team

- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other regional airline operations teams to achieve business objectives and share best practices

- 8+ years of experience in airline operations or a related field, with a focus on regional airline or management roles

- Proven track record of successfully leading high-performing teams and managing complex airline operations

- Strong knowledge of airline industry regulations, standards, and best practices

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as aviation, business administration, or a related field

- Fluency in English and German, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Master's degree in a relevant field or related certifications (e.g., MBA, airline executive program)

- Experience with airline operations management systems and tools (e.g., Sabre, SITA)
