šÆ ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Regional Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our business operates within the bounds of all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating risk, developing and implementing compliance programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth while maintaining our high standards. Your expertise will enable us to maintain our leadership position in the market and ensure continued customer trust.
š KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor regulatory updates and changes, ensuring our compliance programs are up-to-date and effective. Develop and maintain compliance training programs for employees, providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to make informed decisions. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with the legal and risk management teams to resolve complex compliance issues. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related matters. Analyze and report on compliance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring open communication and cooperation. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends.
ā REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field. Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related area. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of compliance software a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. German language proficiency required, English language skills a plus. Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) or similar certification an asset.
ā PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Law, Business, or a related field. Certification in a related field, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Data Privacy Technologist (CDPT). 5+ years of experience in a compliance or risk management role. Proven experience with compliance software and systems. Strong knowledge of EU and German regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and KWG.

We offer a competitive salary range of ā¬50,000 - ā¬80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
