🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Regional Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of DHL's logistics network in Mexico. You will work closely with the local management team to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for managing a team of logistics professionals and providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs in the DHL Mexico logistics network.

- Manage a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

- Collaborate with the local management team to develop and implement customer-centric solutions to meet the needs of DHL's customers in Mexico.

- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address any issues or opportunities.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government agencies.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance DHL's competitiveness and market share in Mexico.

- Implement and maintain effective safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of employees and the security of DHL's assets.

- Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively.

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations and provide support to management teams.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of logistics professionals.

✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.

- Proven experience in managing logistics operations, including experience in leading teams and developing strategies to improve operational efficiency.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders.

- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, including experience with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of logistics professionals.

⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.

- Certification in supply chain management or logistics, such as the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or the Certified Logistics and Transportation (CLT) certification.

- Experience in managing budgets and financial planning.

- Strong knowledge of the Mexican logistics market, including experience with local regulations and customs procedures.
